Griffith, just up the road

Griffith's Brisbane South (Nathan) campus — where the university has brought its southside teaching together — sits in Toohey Forest, minutes from Genesis 1. Drive it in about five minutes, or let the busway do the work: the campus has its own station on the South East Busway, one stop from Garden City.

02By Metro

One stop on the M1

Walk ten minutes to the Upper Mount Gravatt busway station at Garden City, and the Brisbane Metro M1 does the rest — services every 5–10 minutes through the day, and the very next stop north is Griffith University station, with a direct walk into campus. No timetable anxiety, no parking stress, and your Metro trip continues to South Bank and the CBD whenever you need the city.

Your commute, your way

Driving? It's roughly five minutes up Logan and Kessels Road, and Genesis 1 has on-site parking available. Cycling is a genuine option too — it's a short ride, and the busway stations have bike racks if you want to mix and match. Feeling energetic, you can even walk it: the campus edge of Toohey Forest is closer than most people's bus stop.

04Beyond Griffith

QUT, UQ and the city

The South East Busway makes Genesis 1 work for students everywhere, not just Griffith. The busway runs express to South Bank and the CBD in about fifteen minutes — that's QUT Gardens Point and the city campuses sorted — with easy connections onward to UQ and TAFE campuses. On weekends the Metro runs 24 hours from Friday evening to Sunday evening.
